TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint)
In most cases this is a very quick exam. You will be sitting upright in a special chair. The small CT scanner will rotate around your head only. Your only job is to hold very still for the duration of the scan. On average the scan only last 9 seconds. In special cases, the longer scan time is used which is only 29 seconds.
